HO-Scale Modular Layout This is a view of one end of the club's modular HO-scale layout. The left corner module has a mountain and stream that can be lifted out and replaced with another scene entirely. The center section has permanent scenery, and the corner module on the right the end of the engine house and yard can just be seen.

The gentleman in the foreground is our Fearless Leader, Rob Seel, whilst in the background, J.T. Thorpe and Bob Folsom are looking after the rolling stock.
HO-Scale Modular Layout A view down one length of the modular layout into the town of "Central". The farm in the foreground is on a removable section of scenery.
HO-Scale Modular Layout A view down the opposite length of the modular layout. In the foreground is the refueling area of the engine terminal and behind that is 12 feet of classification yard.

New Jersey Central's Blue Comet HO scale model on CRM&HA's layout
Pennsylvania Diesel at "Central" HO scale model of a Pennsylvania Diesel at the "Central" station.  The pedestrian overpass is a scratchbuilt model by Rob Seel, and the landscaping was also created by Rob.  The upper and lower depots are standard kit models built by J.T. Thorpe and refurbished by Rob Seel for the club.
Bowser T1 HO scale model of a Pennsylvania 6-4-4-6 T1 built by Rob Seel.  This photo was taken at one corner of the CRM&HA's HO modular layout.   The town and mill are all standard kits that have been built, detailed, and modified by Howard Garner.
Southern Railway 2-8-0 Consolidation HO scale Bachmann Spectrum locomotive slightly modified to match the prototype parked in Asheville.   This photograph was taken at the "Central" station.

"Central" Depot. HO scale model on CRM&HA's layout. These are crepe myrtle trees and the station platform lights that are lit courtesy of fiber optics! Rob Seel is responsible for the excellent modeling. Club member Jay Jablonski took this photo at the club's train show on February 12, 2000.

Central No. 13 Mantua HO scale model of a 4-8-0 that was remotored, remotored, relettered, and detailed by J.T. Thorpe. It's quite a powerful little hauler for it's size and weight. It is shown passing the Central station with a string of 20+ MDC boxcars.
Central No. 13 meets N&W 1218 HO scale--a meet between Central Railway No. 13 and N&W 1218 pulling an excursion train.
Southern RS-3 This is a G scale layout provided by Bob Hanson for the show. A pair of Aristocraft switchers marked for Southern railway make the rounds.
